Showcasing the craftsmanship of Tunisian artisans through catalogs design and product photography
Projet
As part of a collaboration with UNIDO and Audacity, I led the creation of 15 artisan catalogs design, capturing over 900 product photos and designing layouts that showcase the rich craftsmanship of Tunisian artisans. This project exemplified my ability to adapt, collaborate, and deliver quality work for an international organization.
Project Goals
Create 15 catalogs with around 60 product photos each.
Help artisans present their work professionally for fairs and online platforms.
My Role
Art director, photographer, and graphic designer.
Part of the team at Audacity, supported by a photographer assistant.
Process and Execution
Flexibility: Adapt to various artisan schedules and locations.
Photography: Use Canon cameras and studio setups for professional-grade images.
Design Tools: Employ Adobe InDesign with advanced techniques like master pages, styles, and linked assets.
Collaboration: Work with artisans to validate photos and finalize catalog details.
Challenges and Solutions
Adapting to limited control over locations and product types.
Using heavy retouching and flexible design strategies to overcome constraints.
Results
